Fun Friday: Garage Saleing With My Mom

This morning I went garage saleing with my mom.

I know saleing isn’t a word, but that is what my family and I call it and this is how we spell it.

Saleing.

It looks goofy.

We had fun.

My mom must have thanked me five times for going with her. I’m happy she was happy.

It was a little on the cool side, but it was sunny. It was the best weather we have had in a while so I’m not going to complain.

We walked about 6,500 steps.

We talked and laughed and remembered odd stuff about the stuff we bought in years past saleing in the area.

This was the first time in a long time that we were able to get out and garage sale together. I think since before the pandemic. I was nice to do something with her that we didn’t have to wear a mask, but we both had hand sanitizer in our purses.

This sale is in a town about 5 miles away from my house. We must have went to about 30 sales. Prices were a little expensive. This town is full of rich people and the prices reflected that.

I bought about 20 items to take to the consignment shop and I got 7 books for free.

We don’t only go buy stuff we go to look at people’s house and stuff and yards. It is a beautiful town.

I’m off to more to do more saleing before work. This time three miles in the other direction. Can’t wait!

I hope you’re doing something fun today!
