For the last two weeks I have been feeling uninspired. I try to write a blog post but can’t make myself do it. So instead of writing something I’m going to show you some pics of the changes we’ve made to our yard.
We have been working in the yard taking out stumps and flowering Bush things that the previous owner left but I dont want. The front of the house was overgrown and I just want a simple clean design. I want to start from scratch and put what I want in the front of the house.
Here’s the border we put around the flagpole. We used blocking that the previous owners left behind.
The old tractor tire used to be around the flagpole. So far we took out all the trees in front and on the side of the house.
It looks totally different. We just have a couple of more stumps to take out and then we can plant grass and landscape.
I’m really proud of the work we have done creating our little space. I love it!
Looking goodπ

Great pictures, and sometimes you have to listen to that voice in your head. Write when it feels right. Forcing it stinks, and then you’re more mad at yourself for pushing it. Words will come!!

Hello from me from Down Under Brisbane. I am sure your yard will end up looking wonderful. It takes a long time to do things from the beginning, but it will be very satisfying and great to see the end result as you have put your own stamp on it π
When it comes to doing a blog post, just don’t stress. This was my doctor’s advice to me. That is why I am telling you, as we all learn from each other. Just write when you feel like and what you really like. The important thing is doing things you really like/enjoy. That is how you get motivated. I also don’t write even monthly sometimes. I wait till I think of a topic and when I really feel that need to write. You have written what is happening with your yard and it is interesting for us the readers, I found it interesting to read what someone far away was doing. So this is a nice post. Write when you feel and want. The important thing is to relax and then automatically the wheel start to turn. Many Blessings of Love and Light from me π β€

Thanks for reading and your beautiful advice. I’m thinking about changing my about me page. I had that I will post twice a week. I’m thinking about changing it to whenever I want. Just kidding. I’m trying to figure out what works best for me.

Exactly correct. Others can advice or give guidance, but it will be only You who will know what works best for you. It goes for all of us, as no one is able to know what agrees with another’s personality. I wish you all the best on whatever your future plans are. Love and Light from me π

Good work Chrissy. I don’t stipulate how often I blog because I think it makes you stress about it. I post as and when I have something to say π Since I don’t worry about it, the ideas have just come and now I have a big list to get through, but still refuse to stress about it π Just enjoy π

I think that I will change my intro page to say I will post when I hve something to say. I have a lot of posts half written so it’s not that. It’s the two posts a week on sun and wed that doesn’t work for me anymore. I guess I need to figure out what works for me. Thanks.

Don’t stress about it Chrissy. Post when you want, about what you want. The only pressure is from yourself. I have the same problem, but I realize it’s all about my expectations of myself, not other people’s.
